Bloodless bullfights are held every year from April to October. Bullfights are held in conjunction with the holy ghost Portuguese Festa that takes place a couple days before the bullfights, not all Festas have bullfights due to lack of Arena or space or money, a bullfight corrida costs between $25,000.00 and $35.000.00 the monies comes from proceeds from the Festa food stands gate sales, donations from business and volunteers.
